Chapter Two : Mirage, down!

" Long time no see, my dear Princess Christianne," The Grim Reaper said with laughter- it carried no good intentions- "I reckon you've revived from your dreams? A hot kiss with your prince.. Tsk Tsk Tsk... How lovey dovey."

" What do you want from us?" said Lorqueil in great resentment. His right hand reached Christie's waist and grabbed her by his side. Christie stood firmly on her feet, and look at the ugly structure in front of her. His scythe might've been polished well. Christie thought. The scythe in Its hand--invisible in Its clothes, if he had hands, that's it-- glittered in the sweet morning sunshine. Sadly, this scene is not as sweet as the morning sunshine. The creepy cold air ran all over the house and into Christie's blood. She was not sure if Lorqueil and Mirage felt the same way. She once thought she was freezing.

" You are alright, my princess. Remember, you are the mighty Princess Christianne Cloudye of the Kingdom on the Cloud," Lorquille comforted Christie, who was shivering in his arms. Christie's eyes still set on the Reaper. Some memories flashed over her mind.

" Oh, you are alright, my Princess!" The Grim Reaper sounded sarcastic.

"Don't you dare laying a finger on them!" said Mirage while he leap off towards the Reaper.

"NO! MIRAGE! COME BACK!!" In the shout of Lorquille, the time stopped flowing suddenly. Mirage's move was freezed. He stayed in the air with his angry looking face, and his fingers almost touched the Grim Reaper. It laughed in such a way that even a superman will be scared to death. And in the next second, Mirage laid on the floor. Blood was over-flowing his body onto the mat. The grassy green mat was stained red.

"Ehehehehe.... Don't you little punky fight with me by your poor skills. Why not play hide-and-seek with me? I should've lost to you by then," said the Grim Reaper. Its face was covered by the black rug in the dark. No one could ever read his mind or saw his expression.

Christie ran to Mirage in Boeing's speed and looked at his injury. "Mirage, how do you feel? Can you hear me?"

"I would've die of shame...Erk...." Blood came out from his mouth like a stream. The stream is scary reddish. "Don't move. I can heal you." Christie placed her hands on Mirage's wound and something happened. Her hands started to glow. The glow then expanded and grew into a strong light. Lorquille could not help but covered his eyes with his arm. The Grim Reaper gave a great scream when the light ceased the darkness where It was standing. Soon, Mirage fell asleep. His breath was calm and light.

"Look there, the little princess is showing off herself in front of us Grim Reaper. That makes me want her even more. AHAHAHAHAHAHA." It laughed in Its devil way again.

" Now, leave! You ugly feature! I have no time to play around with you. This is neither Vampire Kingdom nor Evil Empire. You can't do anything here!" shouted Lorquille. His grip was shaking in anger. He nearly bite his own tongue with his fangs.

"We will meet again someday. Not? Little princess?" the ugly feature disappeared into the dark, where the Sun could not reach. Christie tried to calm herself down. What had just happened was too great of a shock for her.

Lorquille held Mirage on his shoulders. "I think I have to go. With Mirage's state, we could not do anything. Listen, just stay here for a moment and I will come to you tonight. Keep yourself safe, promise me." Christie kissed Lorquille on his cheek. "Alright." And here, went the handsome prince to his world. And the princess here, waiting anxiously for the night. It was a good day.

* I am not sure if this suits. I failed to memorise the story board and just write on my own. Please state it if I went somewhere else. I hope this will not affect the story. My english, sorry for that. *
