Chapter One: Accidental Love CONTINUED

"By the way, Fiona," Jayce peered at Fiona through his spectacles. "You might be happy about this."

"Hmm? What's that?" Fiona said absent-mindedly as they headed towards the language lab for Moral Studies. By right, the language lab was only used by students who were studying English, Malay and Chinese but their Moral Studies teacher, Mr Jeremy who was a bubbly fat guy had somehow talked other teachers into letting his students to use the language lab.

"We'll be having Moral studies with 3A this year," Jayce said as he had his eyes fixed on Fiona's face, determined to catch her blushing. Nikolas was in 3A. Jayce had always wondered why Nikolas was chosen to be in 3A, seeing that he rarely studied and 3A was for the very best students from their school. He thought Fiona and him deserved to be in 3A more than Nikolas.

Life is so unfair, Jayce thought. Same goes for love.

"Oh," Fiona gave a monosyllabic word as response. Her expression did not change at all.

"Aren't you happy about that?" Jayce asked, shocked. He had expected a happier reaction than this.

"Why should I?" Fiona asked back, determined not to look too happy. Inside her, she was so happy that she could fly. Same class with Nikolas! What could be better?

"Hurry up, Jayce," Fiona grabbed Jayce's arm and rushed him towards the lab. "We don't want to be late for our first class!"

Well, that goes to prove that I'm right when I assume that she has a crush on Nikolas, Jayce sighed, looking at Fiona's hand that was grabbing his tightly. But how I wish that she would like me instead!
